Feast Magazine: “Edwardsville has a new destination for clean eating.”

Feast-1

Yesterday, Heather Riske of Feast Magazine (yes, Feast!) visited our shop. We had a chance to tell her our story and, even better, talk about our menu.

Edwardsville has a new destination for clean eating.

After a few months of filling pre-orders, Source Juicery officially opened its doors in Edwardsville on March 1. The small shop caters to those looking to eat healthy in a hurry, serving cold-pressed juices, smoothies and healthy food to go.

Fresh Juice + Good Vibes

From the Sauce Magazine Blog:

“Fresh juice and good vibes were flowing on Tuesday, March 1 at Source Juicery in downtown Edwardsville as owners Michelle Motley, Lisa Hudson and Chrissy Stevens, formerly of the Cleveland-Heath kitchen, opened the doors of their healthy food-to-go concept at 220 N. Main St.”

Can we tell you how happy this sentence makes us? Not only does it capture the excitement we felt from opening our doors last Tuesday, but Sauce Magazine also nailed the very vibe we have so passionately been trying to create! Delicious, heartfelt goodness!

Sigh. What an awesome week.

Thanks so much to all of you good people who came in to check us out. And a special thank you to Sauce Magazine for the shout out. You can read the full article here: Source Juicery opens doors in downtown Edwardsville

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Source Juicery is open! We’re open! Did we mention we’re open?!

We are so excited to bring Source Juicery to Downtown Edwardsville. To our customers, families and friends who have been supporting this adventure, thank you! We wouldn’t be here without your enthusiasm for the Source menu. Our goal was to provide people with delicious, healthy drinks and food. To see this idea turn into reality is humbling, awesome and so much fun.

Also, thank you to Sauce Magazine for the write up! You can check it out here: The Scoop: Source Juicery opens doors in downtown Edwardsville.

Since we opened the front door at 220 N. Main Street this past Tuesday morning, we’ve seen a lot of smiling faces. We’ve also had the opportunity to answer some questions, and we wanted to share some of those with you.

Q: What are your official hours?
A: Source is open Tuesday through Friday, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Saturdays, 7 a.m.-1 p.m.

Q: Can I still place an order for pick-up?
A: Yes. We have a limited online menu that allows you to place a pre-order for pick-up Tuesday-Friday. Here’s the trick: you have place your order by noon the day before to guarantee it will be ready. If you have any questions about how this works, you can always give us a call at 618.650.9080 or send us an email. Click here to check out our full in-store menu.

Q: Can I order a Cleanse?
A: We’re currently offering 3-day cleanses once a month. Our next cleanse starts April 5, 2016. Orders will open the week before. If you’d like to receive a notification when it opens, just sign up for our newsletter. (Just scroll down to the bottom of any page of our website, look at the right-hand corner, and enter your email.)

Q: What is cold-pressed juice?
A: Our menu – including our smoothies and food to-go – is homemade in the Source kitchen. To create the cold-pressed juice, we use a hydraulic press (which we fondly named “Norman”) to crush and press fruits and vegetables. This process extracts the freshest form of juice available so that every sip is loaded with the nutrients your body needs. There’s no processing, no preservatives, no added sugars. And did we mention it’s delicious? Stay tuned for future posts about the health benefits of cold-pressed juice.

Q: Who are you?
A: We are three women – Michelle Motley, Lisa Hudson and Chrissy Stevens – on a mission to bring convenient, healthy drinks and food to our community! We’re all from the St. Louis area and live in Edwardsville and Glen Carbon.

But enough about us! To those of you liking us on Facebook or following our Instagram, thank you! We’re loving the enthusiasm. We’re feeling pretty darn happy, healthy and whole right now. And we hope you are too!
